GOVERNOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA COMMENDS IMO TEACHERS

As the teachers in the State joined their colleagues all over the Country to celebrate their day, the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has commended them for their unbridled commitment and their avowed patriotism

and said that he would continue to appreciate them as governor and even when he must have also left as governor.
The governor remarked that the teachers in the State have always exhibited high level of selflessness in the discharge of their primary assignment and in the way they handle students and pupils entrusted into their cares. He also commended the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) in the State for their dedication.
He noted that the remarkable performances of students from the State in public exams could only be seen as the outcome of the hardwork of the teachers in the State and added that as they care for the students, God would also care for them and their families.
The governor explained that the free education programme in the State would not have had the huge success it has recorded without the wonderful contributions of the teachers and noted that the success story of the free education policy of the State Government would not be complete without the noble role played by the teachers being mentioned.
The governor assured that he would continue to hold the teachers in the State in high esteem and would stop at nothing to see to their welfare and prayed God to bless all of them abundantly.

MY PEOPLE MY PEOPLE

Welcome to Imo state, the Eastern Heartland where there is no impossibility (I will explain later in this write-up) I've never been good in political discussions but maybe I should try and be good in some certain things and I may not be political but I must be good in talking about my dear incomparable state Imo, all its good and bad makes us unique.

My People my people, that's how it all started, many are now crying while many are laughing. Don't put your egg in one basket lest it all break at once, but I say why deal in eggs in the first place, even if you must then why carry it about? Instead of crying for employment why not create employment yourself. Instead crying over a bad administration, let us find at least one good thing in it and rejoice about it. I know we can't win by keeping mute and by accepting things the way they are, but if we are going to fight then we fight with all we have, if we win then we win all and if we lose, God forbid. Most be talking don't know what they are talking about. The people tell what is not the truth, they are after rubbishing the image of the government and the Government will never tell you the truth about things. My Lecturer in School Mr Ugorji said "Lack of informations leads to rumours" so I ask who is to be blamed? the People for creating false rumours? Or the Government for not giving the people the proper informations? I don't blame anyone rather I blame people who listen and believe.

My Governor My Governor, Happy Birthday sir! Your SA on Media told us "Rochas is not an Angel, if you want to see an Angel then you have to die then go to heaven or you meet an artist to draw you one" it's brilliant I thought as I listened to him speak with wisdom. I don't have towards expectation of you because I fear disappointment. Are you doing excellent? NO, are you doing bad? NO, Can I change you? NO. I don't dwell on situations I can't change. Sometimes I blame our greediness, we want plenty for nothing, and we expects too much from people we gave too little. I believe we all know what is good, so why not stopping complaining and hating and starting doing something for us. I believe in a better tomorrow
I believe in a better Imo State
Long live Imo state
